Abstract
The home automation today needs to make use of the latest technological components available. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a home automation system where communication technologies GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication), Internet, and speech recognition have been used. All these techniques are successfully merged in a single wireless home automation system. This system offers a complete, low cost, powerful and user friendly way of real-time monitoring and remote control of a house
