Abstract

To measure the effect of science popularization work more comprehensively, a group evaluation method for science popularization based on generalized fuzzy similarity and technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS) is presented. First, 22 indexes are selected to construct an evaluation index system. Then, positive trapezoidal fuzzy numbers of science popularization bases' operation data and each evaluation index weight are given by all decision-makers. On this basis, a fuzzy decision matrix is constructed and evaluation results are obtained by TOPSIS. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the operation data of 5 science popularization bases are collected, 4 fuzzy similarities and 3 ideal solution computational methods are adopted, and the sorting result of science popularization level is provided in accordance with closeness.
