Abstract
In this work, we describe a novel, easy and green method for the synthesis of diazaphosphinine derivatives. The new diazaphosphinines were prepared by condensation of phosphorus oxychloride with the corresponding benzamides under reflux in acetone with moderate to good yields. The structures of the new compounds were confirmed on the basis of their infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectral data (1H, 13C, and 31P), MS, and elemental analysis.
