Abstract
Background: The PillCam Colon capsule is an emerging minimally invasive technology for visualization of the colon. Like all colon imaging methods such as conventional and virtual colonoscopy, it is critical that an optimal colon preparation be established. In the search for the optimal preparation it is essential that a reliable grading scale to assess the colon cleansing level is identified and validated. Aim: The primary aim of this study was to assess the reliability of a new grading system to evaluate colon cleansing for the PillCam Colon capsule.
