Abstract

The study addresses the following issues: What is the Russian perception of the role of the state regarding the course of Russia’s History? When were the main precepts of the so-called “state narrative” formulated, what is contained in it, and what are the consequences of its legacy? How does Putin’s political rhetoric reflect the “state narrative”, and how has it changed from 2012 onwards? Why is it important to study emblematic Russian thinkers of philosophy of history?
