Abstract
This article address the public management of the municipality of Foz de Iguacu to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the economic and social implications generated by these policies in the Parana Tri-Border Area. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive research, which used the inductive analysis method. We analyzed municipal public instruments formulated in the period from March to July of 2020 and local and national journalistic sources. From the study carried out, some preliminar conclusions can be reached: in the case of border territories, the Pandemic has made historical social inequalities visible and potentialized;local public policies have not taken into account the particularities of the border territory and not even the voices and bodies that inhabit it, which ends up making the cross-border population even more vulnerable.
