Abstract

The aim of this paper is to critically discuss the importance of the link between culture and politics to a reflection in the cultural geography. To emphasize both the historical, concrete for determining the development of culture in society. The comments on political and cultural geography will be addressed from three points, namely: the emphasis on the process of appropriation of nature by man, the question of political action by the State and thirdly, the ideas of tradition and modernity and the formation the symbolic space. The context in which they developed the spatiality of culture is outlined in this work from the commercialization of culture under capitalism. Also walking the dimension of human existence, the complexity of relationships, where individuals, social agents construct the circuits, the paths of an existence.
