A Generic Framework for Predicting Energy Consumption of Public Building

Abstract

AbstractWith the increase in demand for energy, the energy conservation of the buildings has become important. In this paper, we propose a generic model for predicting the energy consumption of public building. The power usage of the Central Taiwan Industrial Innovation Park (CTIIP) would be used to exemplify the model. The methods of linear regression and various machine learning techniques were applied for the prediction.
