Abstract

Modern martingale theory is used to derive a general model in risk theory. The Levy measure or dual predictable projection measure of the aggregate claims process is studied in the individual as well as in the collective model of credibility theory. The socalled adjustment coefficient is generalized to an adjustment function. This concept applies to ruin time in the model of proper and negative claims with positive and/or negative relative safety loading.
