Abstract
The writer would like to congratulate the authors for their complete and comprehensive study of turbulent velocity profiles of dilute polymer solutions. He wish to draw their attention to the similarity between the mechanisms of drag reduction due to the injection of polymers and the reduction of friction factor due to air entrainment in high velocity open channel flows.
