Abstract
ABSTRACT In this article, we derive a general class of distributions and establish its relationship to χ2 distribution. The proposed class includes normal, inverse Gaussian, lognormal, gamma, Rayleigh, and Maxwell distributions. Various statistical properties of the class are discussed. Some applications of the class are given.
