Abstract

Power flow calculation is necessary which is essential to analyze steady-state as well as dynamic performance. A fuzzy power flow (FPF) calculation is proposed based on forward-backward sweep (FBS) method to solve the existing uncertain problem in the distribution system in this paper. Firstly, a model of the distribution network is presented to analyze factors influencing on transfer of active and reactive power between two sources. Secondly, a kind of fuzzy forward-backward sweep (FFBS) method based on branch current is proposed and the theoretical analysis of convergence of FFBS method based on branch current is given. Finally, compared with certain forward-backward sweep method, the fuzzy results reflect real situation of system and provide more information for plan of power system and design.
