Abstract
The author of this paper has been studying in the Archives of the Quay d'Orsay the reports of French diplomats based in Dublin after the war. He throws light on how France viewed Ireland's neutrality during world war II, the Northern Ireland problem and Ireland's refusal to join NATO.
