Abstract
Cloud storage provides the unique benefit of storing and backing data to enable users to access data from any computing device via Internet. With many cloud storage providers in the market, end users have the luxury of maintaining multiple accounts. Managing multiple cloud services and becoming familiar with client application of each provider is inconvenient. Also, users are unable to share files with users of different cloud storage services. In light of all these problems, a framework to integrate multiple cloud storage service APIs is proposed. The framework also enables sharing of files across different cloud storage services. As the proof of capability of the framework, integration of two different clouds Dropbox and Google Drive has been demonstrated. It provides a single interface for all service providers resulting in convenience to the user. This framework brings different cloud storage services under one umbrella and is scalable to permit inclusion of additional storage services.
