Abstract
Configuration design is widely used in complex product development to achieve diversified products based on a set of modules. But this process is mainly completed by designers. With the continuous increasing of user’s customization demand, more and more users ask to participate in the configuration design. A framework method for users to participate in configuration design for complex products is put forward. The specific implementation method of user-participation configuration design is studied, including analyzing participation process and building user-participation configuration design scene. Furthermore, the corresponding business mode is proposed, which can effectively integrate the participants in supply chain and realize the function of individual customization.
