A framework and operation mechanism for knowledge services

Abstract

Knowledge service is a service to provide knowledge. The management and technology activities in enterprises are related with knowledge, the precondition is knowledge sharing and communication in enterprises, and knowledge service can provide knowledge for enterprise business. Enterprise Knowledge Service (EKS) is a new enterprise business model developing from knowledge management and service management, including mainly inter-organization knowledge service and knowledge service exterior. The former is the main body for enterprise knowledge service, and becomes the important foundation of enterprise innovative management gradually. Inter-organization knowledge service is the main study object in this paper, and then this paper constructs a knowledge service framework for satisfying enterprises' knowledge demand and points out a set of operation mechanism. Finally this paper analyses the application case of knowledge service for a software development company.
