Abstract

We present the results of low longitudinal field μ SR experiments in the intermetallic magnetic system LaCrSb 3 . In the low field phase ( < 250 G ) , we find evidence of at least two magnetically inequivalent muon sites characterized by large static internal fields which are not changed appreciably by the spin-reorientation transition at about 90 K. Other characteristics of the muon spin relaxation function that do reflect the reorientation are discussed.
