Abstract

Este trabalho analisa as motivações de licenciandos para participarem do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) e identifica positividades e fragilidades dele na perspectiva de 770 bolsistas, em Minas Gerais. Este estudo descritivo-exploratório, estruturado a partir de informações recolhidas por instrumento online, aponta que os aspectos relacionados com a prática docente, o recebimento da bolsa, e o desenvolvimento de pesquisas apresentam-se como as principais motivações para a participação no programa. As positividades e fragilidades permitem inferir que o programa não pode se caracterizar como um espaço autônomo, mas que deve possibilitar reflexões nos cursos de licenciaturas a fim de que os mesmos revejam seus currículos e se afirmem enquanto lócus central da formação de professores.

This work analyzes licentiate student's motivation to join the Teaching Initiation Scholarship Institutional Program (TISIP) and identifies its positive points and weaknesses in 770 scholarship students’ perspective, in Minas Gerais. This descriptive and exploratory study, structured from information collected by an online instrument, points out that the aspects related to teaching practice, the receipt of the scholarship, and the development of research are presented as the main motivations for participation in the program
The positive and weak points allow inferring that the program cannot be characterized as an autonomous space, but must enable reflection within licentiate courses in order to review their curricula and claim themselves as a central locus of teachers’ training
