Abstract

A formal approach is established in order to calculate the electrical-conductivity tensor for disordered materials. Binary and more general alloys as well as liquid metals are considered. Throughout this paper a quasi-crystalline approximation is used to evaluate the appropriate configurational averages. The value of such an approximation is also discussed in some detail.
