Abstract
The cyclocondensation of alkynyl ketones with 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds in the presence of NaOH in DMF at 80 °C affording polysubstituted phenols with high atom-efficiency in moderate to good total yields is developed. Keywords: Alkynyl ketones, cyclocondensation, 1, 3-Dicarbonyl compounds, phenols.
