Abstract

The flocculation and deposit of asphaltene in porous media is concerned all the time by researchers home and overseas; because of its complexity, the study of testing method, flocculation and deposit theory is a hot topic for all researchers, especially for the problem of flocculation and deposit of asphaltene in porous media. Based on some related researches, this paper establishes one dimension gas-liquid-solid three phase flocculation and deposit model of asphaltene in porous media, simulates practical experiments with it, and contrasts the calculating results with experimental ones. The results suggest that the model show good agreement with the experiments; at the same flow speed, the lower porosity and permeability the core has, the greater effect is of porous media on the flocculation and deposit of asphaltene; the flow speed is inversely propotional to the amount of deposited asphaltene.
