Abstract

A networked automatic measurement system for radiochemical study has been developed. This system is composed of five units of robotic measurement system, a free workstation for program development and a server with 60-MB hard-disk stored all program, nuclear data and status information of each unit, which are networked through IEEE 802.3 LAN. One unit consists of a small revolute type robot, a 16-bit personal computer, a multichannel analyser or a counter/timer connected with GP-IB. This system enables even a biginner to measure various types of samples continuously and to analyse the data very easily.
