Abstract

AbstractIn this chapter, we revisit and expand the context framework of Debra Rog, informed by three cases and by new aspects that we have identified. We then propose a way to move the framework into action, making context explicit. Based on the framework's components, we describe and illustrate a process we label context assessment (CA), which provides a means of identifying important contextrelated factors and integrating the implications of these within the three main stages of evaluation. © Wiley Periodicals, Inc., and the American Evaluation Association.
