Abstract
Multi-MN·m torque measurements are needed in testing for the wind industry. As no national or international torque standard exists in that range, a force lever system has been designed to achieve traceability through force and length measurements. The system has been analysed numerically and the influences of nacelle test benches, such as rotation and additional mechanical loads, have been investigated.
