Abstract
We have proposed a film antenna which has a planar structure with a dimension of 50 x 70 mm <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> for the reception of the digital terrestrial television broadcasting. The antenna covers the frequency ranges of the ISDB-T, the ATSC's UHF band and the DVB-T's UHF band and radiates with high gain there. The antenna can be used in notebook PCs and mobile phones, etc.
