Abstract

In a recent column, we began looking at unanticipated questions you might receive from Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act training participants on topics you hadn't covered in your FERPA training. Or these questions may come out of the blue via an email, phone call, letter, or face‐to‐face conversation. An alumni director had numerous questions, and I answered three of them already in a previous column but she had one last question that I didn't have space to cover. And it applies to more than just the alumni office.
