Abstract
Endocrinology will now entertain submission of cutting edge, time-sensitive Brief Reports for publication in the Journal. Authors interested in this feature must submit the title page and abstract of their proposed report for approval by the Editor-in-Chief before submission online and provide a compelling rationale for the manuscript being considered in the accelerated time frame. Accelerated Brief Reports should be four printed pages in length (fewer than 2400 words of text and four figures and/or tables). If approved for submission by the editors, Accelerated Brief Reports will be reviewed within 2 weeks. If not approved for submission as an Accelerated Brief Report, authors may submit the manuscript as a regular Brief Report through the normal online peer review system.
