A Fast Recognition Method of Bar Code Based on Digital Image Processing

Abstract

In this paper, we do not only introduce the digital image processing technique to the bar analysis but also implement a one-dimensional bar code recognition. In the course of the study, the acquisition of signal can be used via the photoelectric equipment with bar code scanner. Meantime we realize the high-speed data transmission through the parallel port of computer as well as the bar digital image processing including filtering noise reduction, edge detection and threshold segmentation method. At last decoding work can be implemented through the logic value matching algorithm, that is to say, the software decoding is realized.
