Abstract
Garden art in the strong structure of art history, begins with peoples settling on the ground and their demand for designing a living place out of economic activities. Information and mentality about garden art, helps to create people's own garden and also to enjoy the other gardens. For sinking in today's gardens more clearly, examining and studying the old gardens has became very important. For this purpose in this paper, the famous artist Gertrude Jekyll, who had an important role in the garden art of 19th and 20th centuries' has been scrutinized. Gertrude Jekyll's art life and especially the point of view to the garden art within the examples of her famous gardens, has been examined.
