Abstract

The Ibitipoca State Park (Parque Estadual do Ibitipoca - PEIB), in southeastern Minas Gerais, Municipality of Lima Duarte, has an area of 1923.5 hectares, at altitudes varying between 1.100 and 1.784 m. Its vegetation is a mosaic of Atlantic forest andcampo rupestre. Within the studied area three species of Amaryllidaceae were found: Habranthus irwinianus, Hippeastrum aulicum and Hippeastrum glaucescens. The species are found in campo rupestre, on the rocks, over 1600 m elevation. Identification key, descriptions, illustrations and comments are presented.
