Abstract

Blurton Jones' (1972) study of behavior groupings in young children was repeated on a different (working-class) population, using a different method of data analysis (oblique rotation factor analysis of transition data). Blurton Jones' findings were confirmed but additional information was retrieved by the transition analysis.
