Abstract
A novel three-dimensional (3D) magnetic imprinted polymer was prepared with bovine serum albumin as the template molecule, dopamine as the functional monomer, and a graphene oxide and carbon nanotube hybrid 3D nanocomposite as the carrier. The preparation conditions for the 3D magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers were optimized. The 3D magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers were characterized in detail by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The 3D magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers possessed a fast adsorption rate and excellent adsorption performance toward bovine serum albumin, with a maximum adsorption capacity of 78.12mgg-1. The extraction conditions, including the washing solvent, the pH of the eluent, and the desorption time, were also optimized. Combined with high-performance liquid chromatography, the 3D magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers were successfully applied to enrich and separate bovine serum albumin from bovine calf serum samples with recoveries of 84.0-94.5%.
