Abstract

AbstractA new series of 2‐Methyl‐3‐(5‐phenyl‐4H‐(1,2,4)triazol‐3‐yl)‐quinoxaline derivatives have been synthesized by simple and efficient method by using 3‐methyl‐quinoxaline‐2‐carboxylic acid, 3‐methyl‐quinoxaline‐2‐carboxylicacidethylester and 3‐methyl‐quinoxaline‐2‐carboxylichydrazide as reaction intermediates in good yields. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral and elemental analysis. The molecular docking studies of 2‐Methyl‐3‐(5‐phenyl‐4H‐(1,2,4)triazol‐3‐yl)‐quinoxalinecarried to predict the anti bacterial potential.
