Abstract

Spherical methylsilsesquioxane particles with an average diameter of 0.3–1.0 μm were prepared by an emulsion polymerization technique using a non-ionic emulsifier and a small amount of sodium hydroxide as a catalyst. Aggregation of the particles was not observed at critical micelle concentration.
