Abstract

This paper intends to examine the evolution of Administrative Law, its main phases throughout history, from the beginnings to the present day, which reflect the political and economic transformations that society and the State have undergone. In fact, Administrative Law, as a legal discipline, is not timeless, insensitive to historical mutations; on the contrary, it is in permanent evolution, following the changes that constantly arise in different periods in the history of human civilization. The political-administrative organization of a given society will therefore dictate the essence of the Administrative Law in force in each historical period. In this context, relationships between the Public Administration and those administered are not static and vary over time. The aim is also to examine the current challenges facing Administrative Law in view of the need to adjust it to the new demands that arise with the changes taking place in society.
