Abstract
A úlcera de decúbito tornou-se um dos principais problemas de saúde pública devido o maior tempo de internação em hospitais, alcançando índices preocupantes e mortes evitáveis. Desta forma, o estudo tem como objetivo verificar os efeitos da laserterapia de baixa potência como coadjuvante no tratamento de paciente diabético com úlcera de decúbito.

We investigated and followed a diabetic patient type II carrier decubitus ulcer, which is elderly, female, age 83 years
This patient underwent application type HeNe laser with a wavelength of 670 nm, pulsed, timely method, an energy density of 6 J/cm2, lasting 5 minutes each, which occurred during the procedure 5 times per week in the period of 6 weeks
Summary
The decubitus ulcer has become a major public health problem due to the greater length of stay in hospitals, reaching alarming rates and deaths. Com base nos resultados deste estudo o laser tipo Hene foi eficaz no tratamento da úlcera de decúbito em paciente diabético no aspecto cicatrização.
