Abstract
In this paper aims at contextualizing important landmarks of Vocational Education in Brazil in the 2000s during the Reform of Vocational Education promoted by Lula's government. We discuss the National Qualification Program, PNQ (2005) Decree 5154/04 (2004), which revoked Decree 2208/97 by reestablishing the integration of Basic and Vocational education with PROEJA (2006).

Neste trabalho procuramos contextualizar alguns marcos da Educação Profissional no Brasil nos anos 2000, durante a Reforma da Educação Profissional promovida pelo governo Lula. Particularmente daremos ênfase ao Programa Nacional de Qualificação, PNQ (2005) Decreto 5154/04 (2004), que revogou o Decreto 2208/97, restabelecendo a integração entre educação básica e profissional, e ao Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na Modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos, PROEJA (2006).
