Abstract

Idiopathic scoliosis is manifested clinically as a disturbance in the static characteristics of the spinal column. The diagnosis of scoliosis also involves the examination of its static aspects. However, these static methods do not permit detection of scoliosis before readiologic and clinical symptoms appear, that is, in the prescoliotic phase.
