Abstract

A YOUNG ADULT underwent transthoracic echocardiography because of a heart murmur. On attempted 2-dimensional imaging and Doppler color-flow mapping of the inferior vena cava (IVC), 2 large veins were seen to pass from the liver to the right atrium. What is the anomaly in Figure 1?
