Abstract

A dual-polarization common-aperture base station antenna array covering 2G/3G/4G/5G frequency bands is proposed in this paper. The antenna array includes four dipole antennas working in the 2G/3G/4G frequency band and seven microstrip slot-coupled antennas working in the 5G frequency band. The lower frequency antenna is a dipole antenna based on the principle of sharing a symmetrical array arm, and the working band is 1.7-2.7GHz. In addition, according to the technical application characteristics of the fifth-generation mobile communication system, a microstrip slot-coupled antenna that works in the 3.4-3.6GHz and 4.8-5GHz is designed. It is a new type of base station antenna designed for the working characteristics of different mobile communication frequency bands.
