Abstract

ABSTRACT Rescuing and evacuation routes planning of less conflicting is critical for dealing with a disaster management problem. An efficient planning tool to produce an emergency managing plan to rescue and evacuate the affected people at the same time in event of disasters is urgently in need. By combining Hamiltonian planar graphs, we proposed a Combo-Hamiltonian dual route (CHDR) approach for dealing with disasters of unknown scale. We simulated and produced artificial disasters for testing and studying the effectiveness of rescue and evacuation inside hazardous area. We also define several key performance indices for evaluating the goodness of different planning strategies.
