Abstract

Economic dispatch problem in islanded microgrid is to minimize the total cost of distributed generators while satisfying the supply and demand constraints and generation constraints. Based on the distributed structure of microgrid systems, a distributed solution of economic dispatch problem in islanded microgrid systems is proposed to calculate the optimal active power generations for each generator. The proposed algorithm is strictly proved by using matrix perturbation theory. The effectiveness and correctness of the proposed fully distributed algorithm is verified by simulation studies.
