Abstract

A new direct discrete time adaptive controller for stable but not necessarily minimum phase plants is proposed. The resulting closed loop control system is shown to be robustly stable in non-ideal conditions without requiring neither probing signals nor parameter estimates correction. Furthermore the performances, in terms of steady-state properties, are completely achieved under ideal assumptions.
