Abstract

A 59-year-old Caucasian man was admitted in our hospital for abdominal pain and weight loss. Abdominal ultrasound revealed hepatic lesions suggestive for metastasis. Therefore, Endoscopy was performed to find the primary neoplasia. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy was normal. Two polyps were detected on colonoscopy: a sub-centimetric pedunculated one (tubular adenoma) and a 5 mm sessile one, both at the sigmoid colon.
