Abstract

The increase in efficiency of processes can be achieved through digitization for various maintenance issues in a production system. Several data analytics methods and technologies are used as the effects of digitization. Many scientific research articles are published based on various analytical and practical methods. The main aim of this article is to cluster scientific papers in the context of production maintenance. Based on filtering and classification, a detailed literature review is conducted. As a result, we evaluate and predict the impact of data analytics in production maintenance. This survey study justifies the influence of data analytics in such domains and indicates the wide scope of research opportunities.
