Abstract

AbstractHigh selectivity band‐reject filters are usually demanded in applications such as removing QAM signals of digital cable TV network and removing interference signals in communication systems. In this letter, a filter design method which employ discontinuous meandered transmission line and isolated board is proposed. The experimental results show that the transient bandwidth (between −3 and −20 dB) of our filters is less than 1 MHz. Besides, the rejecting bandwidth of our filters can be tuned to fulfill the requirements of different applications.
