Abstract

A design method for developing a microstrip pseudocombline filter from traditional combline filter is presented. Explicit design equations and general equivalent circuits for improved parts are derived. Finally the proposed design technique is used to construct a 14%-fraction-bandwidth pseudocombline filter with center frequency of 4.3 GHz. Simulation and measurement results are plotted.
