Abstract
This document provides an overview of mobility management within the ORBCOMM system. With a full constellation of LEO satellites and an increasing number of diverse customer applications, ORBCOMM has been able to assess the performance of early location strategies and to develop refinements. The work is not complete, and occasionally encounters a new twist when unusual customer applications emerge.
