Abstract
1. IntroductionMyxofibrosarcoma (MFS) is a common sarcoma type, affectingmainly elderlyindividualsandoftenoccurringinthesubcutaneoustissue of extremities, with trunk being a less common site of origin[1,2]. To our knowledge, only two reports of deeply seated intrace-rebral MFS manifestations have been published [3,4]. We report arare caseofclinicallyaggressiveMFSofthetrunkwithintracerebralmetastasis.2. Case reportWe report the case of a 73-year-old male presenting to his gen-eral practitioner with a palpable painful mass at the right lowerthoracic level.On magnetic resonance (MR)-imaging, a well-demarcated,contrast-enhancing lesion (6×4×7cm) harboring a central cys-tic component was found on the dorsolateral thoracic wall at theheight of the 12th rib.
