Abstract

Preventing patient harm from pressure ulcers in health and social care settings remains high on local and national agendas. Furnishing staff with robust data and using a thematic analysis methodology allows care providers to embrace all available learning from incidents of pressure ulcers. This article explores this methodology and local findings with key next steps for the harm-free care and quality improvement strategies in an acute NHS foundation trust.
